With Snowminds you can become a ski instructor in countries like Austria, Canada, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, USA, Argentina, South Africa, and New Zealand. We have courses and experiences that last anywhere from one week to over six months and we are happy to help tailor a career break or a Gap year. We have helped more than 4,500 ski and snowboard enthusiasts around the world.

Becoming a ski instructor in Canada, Japan, Switzerland, Austria, or another country is more than a ski instructor education, après ski and ski lessons. We both experienced this when we, as 19-year-olds in 2004 and 2006 respectively, took on our first seasons as ski instructors in Austria. We loved every second and experienced that a season as a ski instructor is a journey of personal development. But it is just as much about making new friendships, developing yourself, gaining worldwide life experience, and exploring a new country, language, and culture.
Therefore, in 2012, we decided to start Snowminds to share our passion for the ski instructor life and help others out, so they get the best ski or snowboard instructor season of their life. It has been our goal from day one to prepare our ski instructors as best as possible to pass the instructor training and succeed in the job as a ski instructors. Thus, creating the framework for an experience that also adds value to a future study or career.
To ensure this, we have created internationally recognized snowboard and ski instructor courses. You get language training and high-quality instructor training with lots of team building, where life-long international friendships are established. And after the course with our job placements, you can start life as a ski instructor at a local ski school.
